Mohamed B. began his career leading an OPGI (Office de Promotion et de Gestion Immobilière) in one of Algeria's wilayas — overseeing public housing construction, allocation, and management across thousands of units. After years in the public sector, he moved into private architecture and entrepreneurship, designing residential and commercial projects.

His final career shift was becoming a court-appointed real estate expert (expert judiciaire immobilier). Evaluating properties in legal disputes, he witnessed the dysfunction from yet another angle: opaque pricing, forged documents, buyers with no access to reliable information, families losing their savings to preventable mistakes.

Across three decades and three roles — public housing, private development, judicial expertise — Mohamed saw the same gaps.
